Terms and Conditions

General Terms
We do not allow Adult, Warez, illegal MP3 Sites or IRC Bots. You may not store more data in your account than your allotted virtual server space. Your virtual server (inc FTP and Telnet/SSH access - if applicable) is for your personal use only. You must not divulge the password to any other person, and you should take reasonable precautions to ensure that it is not discovered by other people.

Data stored on our servers is not guaranteed to be backed up. It is recommended that you keep an independent backup of all data stored on your virtual server. You may not run server processes (eg. talkers/IRC Bots) from your virtual server. We shall not be held liable for any loss or damages caused by the use or misuse, unavailability or removal of services. When your account is closed, all files (including web pages, etc.) will be deleted.

We reserve the right to cancel your account at any time without notice. We reserve the right to amend and update these Terms and Conditions at any time without notice. To protect your privacy we never distribute your name or e-mail address to any third parties. Users must not participate in any form of un-solicited bulk e-mailing or spam. By logging into your account, or uploading files to it, you are indicating your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

Bandwidth
If your bandwidth reaches the points where it has an adverse affect on other clients we reserve the right to disable your site until you can reduce your bandwidth usage.

Telnet/SSH
Telnetshell/SSH accounts are restricted, but are occasionally made available for editing and setting up your web site. It is not a development platform for issues unrelated to your web site. You must not leave you home directory at any time. You must not attempt to gain the privileges of another user. Interfering with the following files will result in your telnet access being removed - .bash_history - .bash_logout - .bash_profile - .bashrc.

Web Pages
Commercial use of web and ftp space is permitted. You will be responsible for the content of your pages, including obtaining the legal permission for any works they include and ensuring that the contents of these pages do not violate UK/Singapore law. You will be held responsible for and accept responsibility for any defamatory, confidential, secret or other proprietary material available via your page(s). We reserve the right to remove material deemed inappropriate from your web pages, without prior notice. AsiaFastHosts do not allow adult, warez or illegal MP3 web sites on their servers.

Domain Names
It is the customers responsibility to make sure their domain name does not expire. AsiaFastHosts will not be held responsible for any domain name that has expired and possibly bought by another individual / company.

Payment Policies
All accounts are set up on a prepay basis. Although AsiaFastHosts reserves the right to change prices of accounts or services at any time all pricing is guaranteed for the period of prepayment. Payment is due each anniversary year following the date the account was established.

Customers will be notified 1 month in advance of their expiry date for any purchases made through AsiaFastHosts. In situations where the customer does not renew their web hosting package, AsiaFastHosts reserves the right to suspend services until the renewals are met.

No bills or invoices will be sent by regular mail. All invoices will be sent directly to customers via email shortly after the online purchase has been made. All payment is in British Pounds or Singapore Dollars.

Payment Options

Cheque Payment:
If you would prefer to order web hosting or domain names by post, then please send an email to billing@asiafasthosts.com. A local Bank Account will be required if customers require the facility to purchase domains and other services on-line. AsiaFastHosts cannot guarantee that a service will be provided until after any funds have been cleared. This is particuarly relevant to Domain Name registration!

Security
Purchases online at AsiaFastHosts are made through PayPal - a industry leader in the field of ecommerce with offices in the UK and Asia. The security used is Thawte 2048 bit encryption systems. At the browser 128 Bit SSL is used.

Complaints
We endeavour to respond to all complaints within 24 hour. If you are unhappy with any service provided by AsiaFastHosts please contact us immediately: Billing@AsiaFastHosts.com

Cancellation and Refund
AsiaFastHosts reserves the right to cancel the service at any time. In this event customers will be entitled to a pro rata refund based upon the remaining period of membership. If a customer contravenes AsiaFastHosts terms of service a refund will not be issued in the event of a cancellation.

Cancellation Rights
You have the right to cancel your web hosting order within 7 working days without giving a reason. The 7 days will not start until the web hosting plan has been set up. Where the customer exercises their right to cancel, we will return your money within 30 days of cancellation. Our 7 day money back guarantee excludes the refund of domain name registration fees and Secure Certificates (SSL).

Indemnification
Customer agrees that it shall defend, indemnify, save and hold AsiaFastHosts harmless from any and all demands, liabilities, losses, costs and claims, including reasonable attorney's fees asserted against AsiaFastHosts, its agents, its customers, officers and employees, that may arise or result from any service provided or performed or agreed to be performed or any product sold by customer, its agents, employees or assigns. Customer agrees to defend, indemnify and hold harmless AsiaFastHosts against liabilities arising out of; (1) any injury to person or property caused by any products sold or otherwise distributed in connection with AsiaFastHosts server; (2) any material supplied by customer infringing or allegedly infringing on the proprietary rights of a third party; (3) copyright infringement and (4) any defective products sold to customer from AsiaFastHosts server.
